My best friend in the world flew up to visit me this weekend, and she came bearing gifts:
Yes, I have the best best friend/baker ever. Not only did she bake me a Twenty-Something Travel cake, she carried it on her lap the entire way from Atlanta. A closer look:
It’s a peanut butter chocolate cake, with chocolate icing. The design was done in fondant. All in all Kim says the process took her a mere 4 hours.

What a great friend! I’ve never had peanut butter chocolate cake but now I’m dying for a slice! Too bad I’m staying out in a jungle in Thailand and only have access to rice and vegetables. Definitely will have to search out cake when I get back to Bangkok 🙂
