In Sayulita you can buy just about ANYTHING off a truck. For months I have been amused and amazed by the sheer diversity of trucks that drive into town, loudly announcing their wares via loudspeaker. There are the gas trucks that circulate every morning (they are my alarm truck), but they pale in comparison to my favorite colorful knick-knack truck:
Isn’t it glorious? It’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to pick up truck shops. I didn’t manage to catch all of them, but here is a round-up of many of the different trucks that frequent Sayulita.

haha! this is such a great post! hilarious! Love the truck with the chair haha
This is great! The shopping comes to you. Very ideal for the lazy person.
Yup! And considering the nearest big store is 45 minutes away by car- very handy!
Love it. The chair photo totally leapt out at me and reminded me of Vietnam and how many things they stack on their motorbikes. I wonder how much of this has to do with not having to pay rent, while having a quick getaway in the case the cops come. ๐
I can’t get over that first chair truck!
That truck with the chairs is amazing! I can’t believe the chairs didn’t fall off.
Ha! thats awesome! I love the random things you find abroad….
Pondering a Sayulita wedding in the future and NEED the churro truck to be in attendance. ๐
Have you seen this? Looks like they had my churro truck! http://apracticalwedding.com/2014/04/sayulita-destination-wedding/
Omg, I love this! Especially the pineapple truck! I want them all.
Happy travels ๐
A churro truck sounds like the best invention ever.
