The Crazy and Wonderful Trucks of Sayulita

In Sayulita you can buy just about ANYTHING off a truck. For months I have been amused and amazed by the sheer diversity of trucks that drive into town, loudly announcing their wares via loudspeaker. There are the gas trucks that circulate every morning (they are my alarm truck), but they pale in comparison to my favorite colorful knick-knack truck:

Isn’t it glorious? It’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to pick up truck shops. I didn’t manage to catch all of them, but here is a round-up of many of the different trucks that frequent Sayulita.

Different Chairs
Baskets and… stuff?
Pineapples
Clothing
a LOT of tomatoes
Fruit
Churros
Flowers
Cribs

  1. Love it. The chair photo totally leapt out at me and reminded me of Vietnam and how many things they stack on their motorbikes. I wonder how much of this has to do with not having to pay rent, while having a quick getaway in the case the cops come. ๐Ÿ˜‰
