Stephanie Yoder is a girl who can’t sit still! She has been traveling and writing about travel for almost a decade now. She started the blog previously known as Twenty-Something Travel in 2009 to serve as a resource for twenty-somethings who want to travel. In 2017 TST was rebranded as Why Wait to See the World, a travel site for Millennials.
Since graduating from college in 2007 Stephanie has visited dozens of countries and spent time living in places as diverse as London, England and Xi’an China. She’s eaten her way through Japan, seen wild elephants in Sri Lanka and jumped off a bridge in Ecuador. She’s climbed the Great Wall of China, been underneath the Colosseum and traipsed across a glacier in Alaska. Along the way she fell in love with another travel blogger and eventually married him on the National Mall. They enjoyed a seven-month honeymoon in Sayulita, Mexico.
Stephanie usually lets her stomach plan her itinerary, and it’s led her around the world in search of the best local food. She is a firm believer in the importance of solo travel, even for married folks.
Stephanie currently lives in Seattle with her husband, her baby girl and a scruffy dog named Leo.
